Gilbert Albert is one of the very few watch designers whose name stands on its own, alongside figures like Gerald Genta. He made his name at Patek Philippe in the 1950s with the asymmetrical “Ricochet” collection, then brought that same sculptural, nature-inspired language to Omega with the Jeux d’Or series.

The 18k gold is worked as an open, textured lattice, almost coral-like, mounted on a black suede strap that shows through the gaps. The round case is set within a faceted plexiglass surround, dial signed Omega. Worn, the two sit together as one continuous piece.
